STOP THE WEST COAST PIPELINE!

The federal government has just designated the West Coast Pipeline a “project of national interest” (PONI).

With the PONI tag, the Money Pit pipeline is pre-approved, bypassing or ignoring critical environmental assessment and rushing through consultation with impacted communities, including Indigenous communities. To top it off, Smith and Carney want you, me, and the rest of the people across Canada to fork up at least $43 billion to make it happen.

It makes no sense. While the rest of the world is moving towards renewable energy, why would we put our public money into a dying industry? The risks to our communities, nature, and climate are steep, and we know it’s only going to line the pockets of fossil fuel executives.

But this is not a done deal! It’s time to show the federal government that this is not what the people of Canada want – not for our economy, our climate, or our futures. If we can generate enough public pressure and flood key decision-makers, we can turn the tide and stop this project.

Call on the federal government to stop the West Coast pipeline. Add your name now.

Canada wants economic security and a future safe for the people and places we love. No more pipelines, we need to accelerate the transition to renewable energy. Reject the West Coast pipeline.
