Tell the Alberta government that oil and gas companies need to clean up their wells

Energy companies and the Alberta government have rigged the system. They want to give industry insiders and greedy executives their dream wish list, and leave everyday Albertans with the multi-billion dollar cleanup bill. 

Danielle Smith’s government is pushing a new plan that lets the oil and gas industry off the hook for cleanup. The “Mature Asset Strategy” (MAS) is an industry wish list, developed behind closed doors by oil industry consultant and political insider David Yager. The MAS lets companies walk away from billions in cleanup obligations, while the public and the environment foot the bill.
