Tell Doug Ford to leave our cities alone!

The Ontario government has introduced a bill that tramples on the ability of cities to make decisions for themselves. This includes threatening their power to use local green building policies that ensure new homes are sustainable, future-proof, and more affordable to heat and cool. 

Many cities in Ontario are trying to transition to modern and clean technologies like electric heat pumps to replace the use of polluting gas furnaces. This new bill threatens to undo all of these efforts.

Tell Premier Ford and his Housing Minister to back off – our communities need to be allowed to protect themselves from fossil fuels!
