The urgency of addressing climate change has never been clearer, and we remain steadfast in calling out major financiers of this chaos – like dirty Citibank. It's time for us to hit Citi where it hurts: their brand reputation and their ability to do business with other major companies.
That's why we're calling out Costco, LL Bean, Macy’s, Home Depot, Best Buy, Sears, and AT&T. Why? Because these companies have co-branded credit cards with Citi.
Today, put the executives of these major companies on notice about what our movement believes:
- If your company chooses to continue its partnership with Citi despite their role in the climate crisis, it is just as complicit as the dirty bank.
- If your company fails to call on Citi to end its fossil fuel financing, customers will be taking their business elsewhere.
If we can influence these companies to pressure Citi about its fossil fuel financing, we believe we can shift the dirty bank to finally drop fossil fuels and instead invest in climate-safe sustainability.
