Protect communities from gas stove pollution

Since the 1970s1 there's been evidence that gas stoves are endangering communities – and a new study indicates 1 in 8 cases of childhood asthma is caused by gas stoves.2

For decades, the fossil fuel industry has taken these risks with your community's health, all while knowing that gas stoves emit dangerous levels of formaldehyde, methane, nitrogen oxides, and other pollutants. Today, the momentum for building electrification is swelling – nearly 100 cities in North America are working on or have existing policies to electrify buildings and eliminate the danger of gas stoves and other fossil fueled appliances.

It's time to take a stand against hazardous pollution in homes by passing policies to electrify new and existing buildings and eliminate fossil fuel appliances.

Demand that federal agencies protect communities from gas stove pollution.

We demand that federal regulatory agencies act to keep our communities safe from gas stove pollution by regulating and ending the proliferation of this dangerous appliance.
