FortisBC wants to expand its Tilbury LNG plant along a fragile part of the Fraser River, in Delta, British Columbia. If we don’t intervene, this project could have devastating impacts on nearby communities, at risk species of fish and whale, and on the climate.
The BC Environmental Assessment Office still hasn’t completed its review of the project, which means we still have a chance to stop the Tilbury LNG project in its tracks.
A wave of pressure from MLAs of directly impacted communities could be enough to provide the Environment Minister the political support he’ll need to reject the project.
