Vote and protect the Amazon Sacred Headwaters

In honor of International Forests Day, two kind donors are offering a challenge gift to support our forests work – they’re offering to donate up to $20,000, as long as you share your opinion on where to direct it.

These donors feel strongly about the power and knowledge of the Stand.earth online community and they want to hear what you think.

Will you vote for protecting the Amazon Sacred Headwaters?

The Amazon rainforest is the world’s largest continuous rainforest and hosts around 25% of the world’s terrestrial species. But many scientists are warning that it’s an ecosystem on the brink of collapse – and protecting its intact rainforest is more crucial than ever. Stand.earth is proud to be a part of the Indigenous-led Amazon Sacred Headwaters Initiative, a coalition working to keep oil drilling and other industries out of 74 million acres of largely intact rainforest in Ecuador and Peru.

With your support, we’ll bring an international spotlight to the communities fighting to protect their homeland, and call out the companies and governments funding forest destruction.
